Welcome To Longslade Community College

Longslade Community College is a 14-19 Secondary School in Leicestershire that is committed to providing a high quality educational experience to all of its students, staff and the wider community. Longslade is profoundly committed to high standards, to raising attainment and demanding creative excellence from its staff and students.

This year Longslade recorded its best ever GCSE results for the second year running with 60% of Year 11 students achieving 5 A*-C, including English and Maths. With a uniform at Key Stage 4, and a Student Charter which encompasses the ethos of the college, students present themselves in a professional manner, respect themselves and their community, and work hard to achieve their considerable potential. At Post 16 results have continually improved with students progressing on to a range of university courses, apprenticeships and further education.

We are ambitious, we are committed to improving rapidly, and we believe passionately that every student can succeed.

Mr Jason Smith
Acting Principal
